Software Engineer - Remote

Overview

We’re looking for passionate software engineers to help build the market data infrastructure for the next generation of decentralized finance (DeFi) applications. You’ll develop smart contracts for blockchain applications, create developer SDKs, and improve our tools and monitoring systems. Plus, you’ll use your knowledge of the DeFi ecosystem to help shape our product and identify new opportunities.

In Short

• Engage in the ideation, creation, and upkeep of both on-chain and off-chain Pyth-related projects.
• Influence our project's trajectory by working alongside business development and sales teams.
• Elevate our team by mentoring junior engineers.
• Connect with the developer community and understand their requirements.
• At least 4 years of software engineering experience required.
• Experience in smart contracts and blockchain development is beneficial.
• Keenness to learn or experience with Rust, Solidity, Python, and Typescript.
• Exceptional technical communication skills are essential.
• Willingness to manage periodic on-call responsibilities.
• Adaptability to fast-paced, startup-like environments.

Requirements

• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience in large-scale, safety-critical systems is a bonus.
• Understanding of low-level programming languages (Rust or C++).
• Ability to nurture engineers of varying skill levels.
• Strong communication skills for diverse interactions.
