Overview

This position is for a Design Tech I role at Dotdash Meredith, focusing on developing technological artifacts to enhance audience engagement through email and interactive content.

In Short

• Work closely with Audience Relationship Team and brand stakeholders.
• Develop code-based interactive content and products.
• Ensure adherence to design and performance best practices.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create engaging products.
• 40 hours a week, with a start date ASAP.
• Contract for 6 months with potential for extension.
• Hourly rate of $45.
• Location: Hybrid - Des Moines, New York, Seattle, or Remote - US.
• Focus on email newsletters, quizzes, and polls.
• Support Digital content strategy and audience engagement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years as a designer/developer.
• Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS.
• Proficient with code editor tools (Brackets, Sublime, Dreamweaver).
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
• Strong eye for design, including typography and layout.
• Experience developing email and interactive content.
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A team player ready to work in a fast-paced environment.
