In Short

  • Actively participate as a project contributor, collaboratively creating, communicating, and managing tasks independently.
  • Design, implement, and maintain technical systems and tools to support game design.
  • Provide detailed and iterative design documentation to support the development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other technical staff to ensure the successful implementation of game mechanics and features.
  • Communicate with external stakeholders, including clients, per project requirements.
  • Occasional travel, per project requirements.

Requirements

  • Strong collaboration skills.
  • Experience with designing complex systems and/or tools.
  • Unreal 5 experience with strong blueprint skills.
  • FPS and/or 3rd person action experience.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in scripting and programming languages.
  • Familiarity w/ Jira, Confluence, or equivalent task tracking and collaborative environments.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of staff, both written and verbal.
  • Show exceptional deductive reasoning skills.
  • Work with and lead teams, including taking direction and inspiring others.
  • Assist in solving problems in resourceful ways.
