Associate Data Manager/SAS Programmer - Remote

Overview

We are currently seeking a Data Manager/SAS programmer who, under the direction of senior data managers and programmers, will provide both data management and programming support for federally-funded and commercially-funded clinical research and epidemiological studies.

In Short

• Assist in writing, testing, and revising programs, predominantly in SAS
• Creating annotated case report forms and questionnaires
• Updating reports and dashboards for internal and external study monitoring purposes
• Constructing code books and format files
• Assist in creating analytical datasets
• Reviewing and fulfilling data requests submitted by internal and external clients
• Contributing to the development and maintenance of data management plans
• Contributing to testing and validating data collection procedures and systems
• Ensuring quality by following established standards and procedures
• Complying with federal regulations and client guidelines

Requirements

• B.S. degree in computer sciences, health sciences, or related field; 3+ years of SAS programming experience
• M.S. degree in computer sciences or health sciences (Preferred)
• Previous experience in cancer or chronic disease research is preferred
• Experience with statistical software like STATA or R is highly desirable
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
• Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment is essential
• U.S. Citizenship is required due to contractual obligations
