Senior Design Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Design Engineer position serves as a Project Engineer/Manager, responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of equipment projects in the water treatment and pulp & paper sectors.

In Short

• Manage equipment projects from specification to installation.
• Support field sales force in equipment specification and operation.
• Work with mechanical equipment such as pumps and filters.
• Collaborate with outside vendors for equipment fabrication.
• Provide training and technical information to peers.
• Travel up to 25% may be required.
• Work with electrical and control systems.
• Develop equipment for new products and optimize existing ones.
• Act as the primary equipment liaison for the N.A. commercial team.

Requirements

• Engineering Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in equipment design.
• Experience in specialty chemicals or industrial water treatment.
• Expertise in customer value drivers and product design upgrades.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Strong problem-solving skills in complex challenges.
• Excellent communication skills for training and support.
• Ability to manage projects effectively.
