In Short

  • Develop, refine, and maintain actuarial models to assess risk, forecast financial outcomes, and support strategic initiatives.
  • Manage monthly processes for unpaid claims liability estimations, medical expense accruals and revenue accruals.
  • Prepare and present detailed actuarial reports and financial forecasts to senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate actuarial insights into business strategies.
  • Drive the development of new healthcare economics analysis techniques and tools.
  • 5+ years of healthcare actuarial experience with Medicaid experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience analyzing and managing payer claims data.
  • Strong technical skills with proficiency in actuarial software and statistical tools.
  • Bachelors degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of healthcare actuarial experience with Medicaid experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience analyzing and managing payer claims data.
  • A deep understanding of risk management and financial forecasting.
  • Bachelors degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field.
  • Strong technical skills with proficiency in actuarial software, statistical tools, and data management (e.g Excel, SQL, SAAS, Snowflake).
