Disc Medicine is seeking an Executive Director of Biologics Drug Products to lead drug product activities across biologics programs, focusing on antibodies and driving the company's growth.

In Short

• Lead the drug product function for biologics programs.
• Oversee drug product manufacturing at CDMOs.
• Lead commercial formulation development for antibodies.
• Engage in selecting external providers for formulation and fill/finish.
• Provide expertise in biologics drug product areas.
• Manage drug product transfer between sites.
• Perform drug product process performance qualifications.
• Manage a team and build the function for growth.
• Collaborate with CMC functions and manage budgets.
• Identify technical risks and provide scientific recommendations.

Requirements

• B.S. degree required; Ph.D. preferred.
• 15+ years in the pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industry.
• Leadership experience in antibody drug product development.
• Knowledge in sterile drug product development.
• Experience in IND and BLA filings preferred.
• Strong communication with cross-functional groups.
• Experience managing a department and budget.
• Experience working in CMC teams.
• Strong network with antibody drug product CDMOs.
• 20-30% travel required.
