Overview

The Client Advocate serves as a trusted resource for employees, providing expert guidance and support in navigating health insurance and healthcare access.

In Short

  • Primary contact for employees regarding benefit questions and issue resolution.
  • Explain benefit plans and assist during open enrollment.
  • Triage urgent eligibility issues impacting access to care.
  • Investigate and resolve claims issues across various insurance types.
  • Support referrals and manage escalations and appeals.
  • Partner with Account Management on priority cases.
  • Maintain strict HIPAA compliance.
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills required.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Active Health Insurance license required or ability to obtain.
  • Prior experience in insurance, healthcare, or patient advocacy preferred.
  • High level of patience and empathy.
  • Ability to manage sensitive situations with professionalism.
  • Strong critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
