Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer at DICK’S Sporting Goods, you’ll play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining distributed backend systems that power our pricing capabilities.

• Design and implement distributed backend systems using Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Java/Kotlin and backend development.
• Proficiency in event-based systems like Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud architecture.
• Experience with Git-based source control and Agile methodologies.
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
• Solid grasp of performance tuning and testing strategies.
• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level Preferred.
• Over 3 years to 6 years of general experience.
• Basic experience in coordinating the work of others.
