Overview

Devis is currently seeking an experienced Manager of Business Development and Capture Manager to lead our strategic growth and business development initiatives for our Federal Government customers in Washington, DC.

In Short

  • Lead and execute overall Business Development and Capture strategy.
  • Source opportunities to develop a robust opportunity pipeline.
  • Understand customer requirements to create compelling proposals.
  • Develop and leverage customer relationships to capture new opportunities.
  • Identify and qualify new business development opportunities.
  • Maintain effective relationships with Government executives and industry partners.
  • Collaborate to respond to RFIs and RFPs.
  • Manage proposal resources and growth budget.
  • Participate in industry events.
  • Support strategic planning and initiatives.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in the Federal Government market.
  • 5+ years in Business Development Management or Capture Management.
  • Proven experience in pursuing and capturing federal business.
  • Knowledge of GSA Schedules and GWAC vehicles.
  • Experience with federal task orders and IT services.
  • Ability to access new markets like CMS and DoD.
  • Established agency contacts for winning new work.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
