User Interface Architect - ExamSoft - Remote

Overview

ExamSoft (a Turnitin company) is seeking a driven and passionate User Interface Architect to write and test code on the ExamSoft product suite. This role reports to VP, Software Engineering and involves designing and implementing application architecture for a suite of applications.

In Short

• Document standards and ensure they are effectively implemented by development teams.
• Collaborate with delivery teams during design and development phases.
• Participate in technical design and development of new features.
• Maintain and support existing features and products.
• Participate in code reviews to improve code quality.
• Investigate and resolve support issues.
• Contribute to continual improvement of product and development processes.
• Participate in software development process following Agile/Scrum methodology.

Requirements

• 7+ Years of HTML5 / CSS3 / JavaScript experience.
• 5+ Years of JavaScript Framework experience (Angular, React, etc).
• Knowledge of large scale, JavaScript application architectures.
• Advanced knowledge of unit testing best practices and CI/CD processes.
• Strong understanding of web performance optimization techniques.
• Experience with build systems, including Linting, Compiling, Minifying, etc.
• Experience with LESS / SASS.
• Experience in modern UI/UX design styles and technologies.
• Experience with responsive web applications.
• Strong written/oral communication skills.
