Overview

As a Senior Backend Developer at Booking.com, you will be responsible for the development, performance, and scaling of our public website as well as internal systems, utilizing cutting-edge technologies to solve complex problems.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in server-side programming languages like Java/Python/Perl.
• Experience with distributed systems and RDBMS/NoSQL solutions.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
• Preferably a degree in Mathematics or Software Engineering.
• Experience with A/B testing and building microservices is a plus.
