Payment Process Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Payment Process Specialist executes the daily operational tasks and projects/new initiatives specific to the Payouts function within Payment Operations. Execution of other operational tasks related to the wider Payment Operations team are also part of this role.

In Short

• Execute operational tasks in relation to payout processes
• Processing, monitoring and reconciliation of payments
• Bank statement processing and reconciliation
• Support the Accounting team with month-end closing queries
• Resolve payment queries from customers/partners via Zendesk
• Complete daily operational tasks in a timely manner
• Suggest process improvement based on on-the-job experience
• Prepare reports, dashboards and analysis
• Communicate with Booking’s partners on payments processes
• Ad-hoc projects as requested

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in finance, economics or a related field
• SAP and Excel knowledge is a must
• Experience in online payments companies/roles is a plus
• SQL knowledge is a plus
• Proficient in both spoken and written English
• Accurate with good attention to detail
• Strong organizational and prioritizing skills
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Customer driven and service oriented
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
