Senior Software Engineer (Android) Team Lead - Remote

Overview

We invite a skilled Android Software Engineer with a passion for building innovative mobile applications to lead and grow our team. In this role, you’ll drive the end-to-end development of complex Android applications while mentoring engineers and shaping technical direction.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in native Android development with Java and Kotlin
• 5+ years of hands-on experience working in the Android ecosystem
• Strong knowledge of modern architecture patterns like MVVM and MVC
• Proven experience integrating popular Android libraries
• Solid grasp of secure coding practices, including code obfuscation and encryption tools (HTTPS, TLS, Android KeyChain API)
• Clear, effective communication across technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Initiative and resourcefulness to work independently, resolve complex challenges, and keep stakeholders informed
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with a focus on supporting others and driving team success
• Passion for continuous learning, staying updated on best practices, and sharing knowledge
