Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) - Remote

In Short

• Own the annual operating plan, rolling forecasts, and long term plan.
• Build and maintain complex financial models to support budgeting and strategic planning.
• Define and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for financial health.
• Investigate performance deviations and provide data-backed recommendations.
• Prepare financial materials for board meetings and investor updates.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders across various departments.
• Identify opportunities to improve and automate financial workflows.
• Design and manage sales compensation plans and lead deal desk operations.
• Lay the foundation for a world-class FP&A function.

Requirements

• 6-8+ years of experience in FP&A or strategic finance at a high-growth software company.
• Expertise in building complex 3-statement financial models.
• Strong analytical skills; fluent in Excel/Sheets and SQL.
• Comfortable using AI tools to enhance finance workflows.
• Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
• Strong business judgment and executive communication skills.
• A self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and fast-paced environments.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with SaaS or usage-based revenue models.
• Prior experience implementing or managing financial systems.
