Overview

Deep Sky is building Canada’s first gigaton-scale carbon removal company, aiming to reverse climate change by scaling carbon removal into a planetary solution. We are seeking a hands-on Head of Marketing to establish our demand engine and build our brand in the carbon removal market.

In Short

• Design and execute marketing campaigns for carbon removal credits.
• Develop content, media campaigns, and email strategies.
• Launch and optimize SEO, SEM, and paid media channels.
• Own the marketing funnel and lead handoff to sales.
• Position Deep Sky as a leader in carbon removal.
• Collaborate with engineering teams for accessible storytelling.
• Partner with sales to create collateral and pitch decks.
• Build marketing systems from scratch including analytics and CRM.
• Own performance metrics and marketing ROI.
• Set strategy while executing marketing tactics.

Requirements

• 5–10+ years of B2B marketing experience.
• Track record of generating leads in early markets.
• Comfortable with both writing and strategic design.
• High creative range and ability to optimize funnels.
• Passion for climate or emerging tech.
• First principles thinking and adaptability.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity.
