Legal Counsel, Immigration - Remote

Overview

As an experienced HR Legal Mobility Counsel, you will help companies address the challenges associated with managing today's globally mobile workforce. Deel’s mobility team helps companies and their employees efficiently relocate wherever they are needed. Our comprehensive range of U.S. business immigration services includes obtaining both immigrant (green card) and non-immigrant status (temporary work visas) as well as providing a range of U.S. immigration advisory services for employees and their employers.

In Short

• Provide legal support and strategy for U.S. business immigration.
• Direct and review submissions prepared by Immigration Specialists.
• Support the Sales team with legal consultations.
• Improve processes and develop additional product offerings.
• Draft petitions for new case types.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams.
• Stay updated on immigration laws and policies.
• Conduct training sessions for internal teams.

Requirements

• JD and admission to a U.S. state bar.
• Minimum 2 years of U.S. business immigration experience.
• Excellent managerial and communication skills.
• Ability to provide strategic business solutions.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
• High level of professionalism in handling sensitive information.
• Technology proficiency.
