As a Legal Counsel specializing in Immigration at Deel, you will help companies navigate the complexities of managing a globally mobile workforce, providing legal support and strategy throughout the immigration process.

In Short

• Provide legal support and strategy from initial consultation to petition filing.
• Direct and review submissions prepared by Immigration Specialists.
• Support the Sales team with legal consultations on immigration options.
• Improve processes and develop new product offerings.
• Draft petitions for new case types as needed.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams on technology development.
• Stay updated on immigration laws and policies.
• Conduct training for internal teams on legal developments.

Requirements

• JD and admission to a U.S. state bar.
• 3-5 years of U.S. business immigration experience.
• Ability to prepare and file high-volume H1B and L1 petitions.
• Advise on the PERM Labor Certification process.
• Excellent managerial and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of professionalism in handling confidential information.
• Technology proficiency.
