Junior Legal Counsel - Remote

Overview

The Junior Legal Counsel provides foundational legal support, assisting in contract review, legal research, and compliance monitoring. This role works closely with internal teams to ensure legal accuracy and regulatory adherence.

• Assist in reviewing and drafting contracts, employment agreements, and policies.
• Conduct legal research on regulatory changes and industry standards.
• Support compliance initiatives, ensuring adherence to local and global laws.
• Work with more senior legal counsel to analyze legal risks and provide recommendations.
• Maintain legal documentation and assist in policy development.

Requirements

• 2+ years’ experience (in-house experience is not essential), with a strong background in Colombian employment law matters.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines at the same time.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
