Overview

DCS AM is seeking a Controller to assist in establishing controls, processes, and financial reporting. The perfect candidate will be analytical, detail-oriented, trustworthy and experienced in financial leadership.

In Short

• Lead the daily functions of the internal finance department.
• Lead the month end close process.
• Financial reporting to the bank and shareholders.
• Regular job cost reporting to executives and project managers.
• Manage the company’s Sage Intacct accounting system.
• Oversee A.P., A.R., treasury and cash management.
• Help build and oversee the company’s vendor and subcontracting database.
• Provide financial guidance to new managers.
• Support and guide the budgeting process across current and new projects.
• Experience managing accounting staff and processes.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in accounting and finance.
• 5 years of experience managing accounting staff.
• Knowledge of accounting policies in general contracting.
• Experience in FP&A with a focus on reporting and analytics.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; CPA preferred.
