System Administrator - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an experienced System Administrator to manage and develop modern IT infrastructures and actively contribute to process automation.

In Short

• Maintenance and optimization of server landscapes (Windows & Linux)
• Setup and management of networks, firewalls, VPNs, and cloud environments
• Automation of recurring tasks (e.g., via Ansible, PowerShell, Bash)
• Monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident handling at 2nd/3rd level
• Participation in IT projects, migrations, and infrastructure expansion

Requirements

• Completed training or degree in IT or comparable work experience
• Good knowledge in system administration, network technology, and IT security
• Experience with virtualization (e.g., VMware, Proxmox), containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
• Analytical thinking, responsibility, and teamwork
• Willingness to be on call (occasionally, project-dependent)
