Overview

The Subsidence Claims Handler will manage and progress subsidence claims on behalf of policyholders, ensuring high standards of service and adherence to company values.

In Short

  • Pro-actively manage subsidence claims through to completion
  • Regularly update clients, policyholders, and their agents
  • Assist field teams with reports and tasks
  • Ensure correct prioritization and completion of tasks
  • Maintain claims on DSAS to the highest standard
  • Manage identified problems within set timescales
  • Support the office team during high volume periods
  • Maintain personal competence and adhere to company procedures
  • Promote the principle of treating customers fairly
  • Respond to requests from team leaders

Requirements

  • Knowledge of subsidence in relation to insurance claims
  • Experience managing technical building claims
  • Understanding of claims handling
  • Excellent telephone skills
  • Strong customer service experience
  • High computer literacy
  • Good communication skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Ability to organize own workload
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
