Quality Assurance Analyst / ETL Tester - Remote

Overview

The Quality Assurance Analyst / ETL Tester will ensure the accuracy and reliability of data in the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) ETL processes within a State Government Medicaid environment.

In Short

• Responsible for designing, automating, and executing test cases for ETL processes.
• Leverage ETL tools, primarily Informatica PowerCenter and Teradata RDBMS.
• Perform backend testing to validate data quality and transformations.
• Write complex SQL queries for data validation.
• Document test results and provide feedback to stakeholders.
• Identify and track defects using tools like JIRA and Azure DevOps.
• Develop automated validation scripts using Python and SQL Alchemy.
• Collaborate with ETL developers to resolve defects.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum sprint cycles.
• Minimum 5 years of QA/testing experience required.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• Strong SQL experience and hands-on work with RDBMS.
• Experience in UI, smoke, end-to-end, and integration testing.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
• Experience with ETL tools and test management tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Healthcare domain knowledge preferred.
• Familiarity with Medicaid systems is a plus.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
