Quality Assurance Test Analyst - Remote

Overview

As the Quality Assurance Test Analyst, you will be responsible for the quality testing and validation of a large Data Lake using AWS Redshift and Databricks. You will be the lead analyst working with a remote team located across the US.

In Short

• Document requirements, test plans, tests, and traceability matrices following ISO13485 compliant processes.
• Collaborate with software developers in unit, regression, and load testing.
• Hands-on execution of test plans and scripts to test and validate application functionality.
• Collaborate with data analysts in user acceptance testing.
• Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to stakeholders.
• Analyze formal test results to discover and report defects and bugs.
• Assist with data requests and troubleshoot queries.
• Develop and implement data quality standards and processes.
• Monitor and update data dictionaries and metadata.
• Recommend ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality.

Requirements

• 4-year college degree in an engineering or related field.
• 5-7 years of experience as a software analyst/tester in pharma or medical devices.
• Strong technical skills with AWS cloud, including RedShift and DataBricks.
• Advanced SQL scripting skills and strong database knowledge.
• Strong understanding of quality assurance and test strategies.
• Proven data analysis and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent PC skills, including MS Office applications.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Able to prioritize and execute tasks on multiple projects.
• High attention to detail and time management skills.
