Senior Manager, Tax Operations - Remote

Overview

Dataiku is seeking a Sr. Manager of Tax Operations to lead our global tax operations function which includes income tax compliance and reporting, indirect tax, and transfer pricing. This is a high-visibility, leadership role responsible for ensuring that Dataiku’s global tax operations are technically sound, operationally efficient, and scalable to support our ongoing global expansion.

In Short

• Lead the global corporate income tax compliance function in collaboration with advisors.
• Manage the global quarterly and annual tax provision prepared in-house process under U.S. GAAP (ASC 740).
• Partner with accounting on statutory financial statements.
• Responsible for the global transfer pricing process.
• Manage in-house staff and local advisors for sales tax/VAT/GST compliance.
• Work cross functionally to ensure accuracy of indirect tax treatment.
• Implement best practices and SOX-compliant controls.
• Partner with Finance IT to identify automation opportunities.
• Establish KPIs and dashboards for tax compliance.
• Monitor global legislative changes for compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, CPA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive tax experience.
• Technical expertise in U.S. GAAP (ASC 740) and international income tax.
• Experience managing tax operations in a high-growth environment.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage external advisors.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
