Overview

As a Software Engineer at Datadog, you will help expand the capabilities of our Data Catalog and scale our data governance tools, ensuring reliable and scalable alerting systems for our customers.

In Short

• Build and maintain high-performance backend services for the Data Catalog.
• Collaborate with engineering and analytics teams to provide tools for data-driven decisions.
• Address performance and scale challenges in data processing.

Requirements

• Experience in API/backend development, preferably with Golang.
• Knowledge of operating highly available applications.
• Familiarity with Data Engineering concepts and tools.
• Comfortable with technologies like Python, Postgres, Kafka, Kubernetes, and Spark.
• Passionate about data governance and usability.
