Engineering Manager I - CI Visibility - Remote

Overview

Datadog is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead and grow our CI Visibility team, which represents part of the “shift-left” expansion of the Datadog Platform. The CI Visibility is a product that provides customers with unique insights during their software development lifecycle by instrumenting CI providers. CI Visibility is part of the Software Delivery suite which aims at helping software engineering teams do more, faster, in a secured way.

In Short

• Lead and develop a talented team of backend and frontend engineers.
• Participate in hands-on work: Code reviews, design reviews, and coding.
• Create a strong team culture aligned with engineering standards.
• Work closely with product management and design teams.
• Ensure the development of a scalable and reliable architecture.
• Help grow the team and shape the engineering culture of the Madrid hub.

Requirements

• Experience with large scale distributed systems and real-time data processing.
• Previous experience leading software engineering teams.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Track record of delivering high-quality software products.
• Hands-on experience with Java or Go.
