This role is for a Databricks Architect to join the Data and Analytics team, focusing on creating and maintaining data architectures that enable data-driven insights and innovation.

Design data platforms, distributed systems, data lakes & data stores.
Create software solutions for data ingest & integration.
Develop and operationalise reliable data pipelines & ETL patterns.
Build analytics tools to provide actionable insights.
Infrastructure development.
Wrangle and integrate data from multiple sources.
Improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality.

Requirements

Extensive knowledge of Databricks architecture and features.
Experience in data solutions using Databricks.
Knowledge of data ingestion tools like Apache Kafka and AWS Glue.
Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Scala, C++, C#.
Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure and AWS.
Experience with SQL Server and Redshift.
Knowledge of Apache Spark and distributed processing technologies.
Experience building CI/CD Pipelines.
