Senior Security Control Assessor Representative (SCAR) - Remote

Overview

Dark Wolf Solutions is seeking a Senior Security Control Assessor Representative (SCAR) to conduct independent comprehensive assessments of the management, operation, and technical security controls and control enhancements employed within, or inherited by, an Information technology (IT) system to determine the overall effectiveness of the controls.

In Short

• Conduct independent assessments of security controls.
• Review security artifacts for system authorizations.
• Evaluate IT infrastructure for risk management.
• Ensure compliance with federal and DoD requirements.
• Identify control gaps and test existing controls.
• Formulate conclusions on internal controls.
• Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments.
• Provide recommendations to leadership.
• Support system/application assessment and authorization.
• Review network and systems design for accuracy.

Requirements

• 15+ years of relevant Cyber experience.
• Experience as a Security Control Assessor or similar role.
• Cloud Platform experience with AWS, Azure, or Google GCP.
• Hands-on eMASS and/or Xacta experience.
• Knowledge of DoD risk management policies.
• Strong technical writing abilities.
• Ability to articulate ideas clearly.
• US Citizenship and Top Secret security clearance required.
