Overview

The Managed Services Principal Security Analyst is a customer-facing role focused on delivering security solutions and exceptional client experiences at Cyderes, a global cybersecurity services provider.

In Short

• Own security outcomes for assigned customers.
• Lead customer-facing calls to discuss incident investigations.
• Perform advanced threat hunting and proactive investigations.
• Act as a technical lead within the SOC.
• Oversee real-time monitoring and detection activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to refine detection rules.
• Maintain and update security operations processes.
• Provide training to Security Analysts.
• Lead post-incident reviews and share findings.
• Stay informed of the evolving threat landscape.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity.
• Advanced knowledge of SIEM platforms.
• Strong experience reading and writing KQL.
• Expertise in securing and investigating security incidents.
• Advanced understanding of networking concepts.
• Hands-on experience with EDR tools.
• Proficient in threat hunting and malware analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Preferred certifications: CISSP, GIAC, GCIH, GCFA, OSCP.
