Overview

The Managed Services Principal Security Analyst is responsible for security solutions for clients, ensuring positive security outcomes and acting as a trusted advisor.

In Short

• Ownership of positive security outcomes for a designated set of customers.
• Guidance and mentorship to other Security Analysts.
• Drive customer cadence calls and act as trusted advisor.
• Develop custom dashboards and reports for customer updates.
• Ensure quality of SOC deliverables.
• Perform Threat Hunting on customer networks.
• Proactive security investigation on client environments.
• Expert-level Strategic Analysis of customer security posture.
• Update documentation and runbooks for repeatable analysis.
• Maintain knowledge of threat landscape.

Requirements

• 3+ years of IT security experience.
• System Administration experience (Windows, Unix/Linux, Mac).
• Advanced understanding of networking concepts.
• Experience with Endpoint Detection and Response software.
• Advanced knowledge of SIEM platforms.
• Industry certification or working towards one.
• Knowledge of SOAR platforms.
• Basic scripting experience.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Expert knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
