Principal Security Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Managed Services Principal Security Analyst is responsible for security solutions for clients, demonstrating capacity to meet and exceed client expectations while representing the Cyderes brand.

In Short

• Take ownership of positive security outcomes for a designated set of customers.
• Provide guidance, instruction, mentorship, and leadership to other Security Analysts.
• Drive customer cadence calls and act as a trusted advisor.
• Develop custom dashboards and reports for customer updates.
• Ensure quality of SOC deliverables.
• Perform Threat Hunting to detect and isolate threats.
• Conduct proactive security investigations to detect malicious activities.
• Expert-level analysis of customer security posture and risk.
• Update documentation and runbooks for repeatable analysis.
• Maintain knowledge of the threat landscape.

Requirements

• 5+ years of IT security experience with a senior role in the last three years.
• System Administration experience (Windows, Unix/Linux, Mac).
• Advanced networking concepts and ability to analyze network artifacts.
• Experience with Endpoint Detection and Response software.
• Knowledge of at least one leading SIEM platform.
• Industry certification (Sec+, CEH, etc.) or working towards one.
• Knowledge of SOAR platforms.
• Basic scripting or development experience in Python, JavaScript, etc.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Expert knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
