Overview

Huntress is seeking a Principal Security Operations Center Analyst based in the UK or Ireland to join our elite team dedicated to combating cyber threats. This role involves triaging, investigating, responding to, and remediating intrusions while mentoring junior team members.

• Lead liaison between the SOC and other teams
• Build automation for SOC workload reduction
• Investigate multi-host intrusions
• Triage and respond to alerts
• Conduct forensic analysis
• Perform advanced malware analysis
• Investigate Microsoft M365 activity
• Engage with customers for SOC activity explanations
• Create and tune detection efforts
• Mentor junior team members

Requirements

• 6+ years in SOC, Incident Response, or Forensics
• Ability to explain complex alerts simply
• Proven mentoring skills
• Understanding of Malware Analysis
• Experience with Windows/MacOS
• Knowledge of Threat Actor Tools
• Experience with Windows Administration
• Strong M365/Cloud attack techniques knowledge
• Self-guided study or degree in IT/Cybersecurity
