Overview

As a Solutions Architect at Customer.io, you will play a crucial role in bridging the technical gap between prospective customers' needs and our business, supporting the sales team in closing premium deals.

In Short

  • Assist Account Executives with technical pre-sales calls and emails.
  • Build and document proofs of concepts in the Customer.io platform.
  • Present ideas and recommendations to prospective customers.
  • Work with Customer Success for smooth transitions from pre to post-sale.
  • Contribute to improvements of sales demo accounts.
  • Create collateral and documentation for the sales team.
  • 75% of time spent on deals, 25% on documentation.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in technical roles with customer interaction.
  • Sales experience with technical aptitude.
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms.
  • Ability to communicate technical ideas effectively.
  • Understanding of sales processes and strategies.
  • Experience in SaaS or marketing automation.
  • Basic understanding of Computer Science Principles.
  • Familiarity with NoSQL and RESTful applications.
  • Experience with templating languages like Liquid or Handlebars.
