Staff Accountant - Remote

Overview

Custom Health is seeking a Staff Accountant to be part of our amazing team, connecting pharmacy operations and clinical care to ensure medication adherence.

In Short

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and post journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Provide assistance with ad hoc projects and reports.
• Support the annual audit process.
• Document all transactions for future audits.
• Keep information confidential to protect organization’s value.
• Participate in educational opportunities to update job knowledge.
• Complete related tasks to accomplish accounting and organization mission.

Requirements

• Understanding of US GAAP and core accounting principles.
• Experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• An undergraduate degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
