Senior Project Manager, Life Sciences - Remote

Overview

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for overseeing project setup, implementation, and execution through completion of commission & qualification in the Life Sciences sector.

In Short

• Lead Life Sciences projects with a focus on cGMP and cGLP capital projects.
• Manage project cost, schedule, risk, and scope execution.
• Develop project charters and execution plans.
• Oversee project implementation through construction completion.
• Prepare RFQs and RFPs for vendor and contractor services.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors and consultants.
• Guide clients through design implementation and construction processes.
• Maintain master project schedules and track performance.
• Ensure smooth project transitions with Operation Readiness teams.
• Mentor less experienced team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of related experience, particularly in Life Sciences.
• Ability to read and interpret construction specifications and blueprints.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Exemplary oral and written communication skills.
• Experience in the construction industry is required.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Understanding of technical requirements for various project types.
• Experience with project budgeting and scheduling.
• Capable of leading project teams and managing staff.
