Overview

The Property Manager is responsible for overseeing the management of one or more properties for a client, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations under the terms of the property’s management agreement. This role includes financial oversight, staff leadership, tenant relations, and facility maintenance to optimize the asset’s performance and value.

In Short

  • Monitor collections and develop operating and capital budgets.
  • Ensure adherence to property management policies and regulations.
  • Provide management and leadership to property staff.
  • Develop comprehensive property inspection processes.
  • Oversee vendor contracts and negotiations.
  • Build positive relationships with tenants and handle complaints.
  • Coordinate tenant and building construction projects.
  • Assist with front desk operations in hotel settings.
  • Attend client meetings and coordinate financial reporting.
  • Oversee emergency response and safety compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3+ years in real estate property management.
  • At least five years of experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Fire Life Safety Director designation (or in process).
  • Strong financial and operational knowledge.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple properties effectively.
  • Experience with payroll tracking and employee scheduling.
