Overview

The Porter is responsible for cleaning vacant units and common areas, ensuring the property is well-maintained and presentable for residents and visitors.

In Short

• Cleans business office, restrooms, laundry rooms, and common areas.
• Prepares vacant apartment units for showing and occupancy.
• Maintains the property landscape and exterior image.
• Provides excellent customer service to residents.
• Reports maintenance issues to supervisors.
• Assists with inventory control.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Some related cleaning experience preferred.
• Able to follow safety policies and procedures.
• Must be physically able to perform job duties.
• Experience in multifamily residential or commercial cleaning is a plus.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to handle equipment and cleaning agents safely.
• Willingness to travel between properties.
• Strong attention to detail.
