Operating Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Operating Engineer is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment and systems for assigned properties, while maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

• Perform plumbing, electrical, and HVAC requirements of the buildings.
• Maintain heating equipment, chillers, and air distribution systems.
• Monitor and adjust mechanical and pneumatic equipment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 5+ years of related work experience.
• Licensure or certification in relevant trades preferred.
• Basic computing skills in Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Knowledge of energy management systems.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and work in various environments.
• Effective communication skills.
