Mobile Facilities Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Mobile Facilities Engineer supports the Assistant and/or Chief Engineer and Sr. Facilities Manager in the day-to-day maintenance, repair, and efficient operation of all building systems and equipment on behalf of the client.

• Perform routine operation, inspection, maintenance, and repairs on HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ensure efficient operation of client facilities.
• Conduct inspections and repairs to property interiors and exteriors.
• Maintain equipment in an energy-efficient and safe manner.
• Perform preventive maintenance and major repairs on various facility systems.
• Maintain compliance with safety codes and regulations.
• Manage inventory and stock control.
• Respond to emergencies and perform light travel if needed.
• Submit monthly reports on building operations.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; trade school or apprenticeship preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of technical experience in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Valid state driver’s license and trade-specific licenses.
• EPA Section 608 “Universal” certification for refrigerants.
• Proficient in HVAC, boilers, pumps, and compressors.
• Strong interpersonal skills for tenant and vendor interaction.
• Basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Comfortable using smartphones/tablets and video conferencing tools.
