Overview

The Assistant Property Manager is responsible for maintaining our communities to a market-ready standard, ensuring a high level of service at all times while building and motivating high-performing teams.

In Short

  • Ensure smooth running of the community in a fast-paced environment.
  • Assist the Property Manager with overall operations including maintenance and lease administration.
  • Provide superior customer service to enhance satisfaction and increase renewals.
  • Complete lease/renewal paperwork to company standards.
  • Track and evaluate advertising and client traffic.
  • Maintain effective on-site staff through hiring and coaching.
  • Manage community budget and finances.
  • Supervise day-to-day operations of the team.
  • Resolve conflicts to maintain a positive living environment.
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3+ years of Property Management experience.
  • 1+ years of Management experience.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Computer literate, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • General office and bookkeeping skills.
  • Ability to manage a team and improve performance.
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Travel may be required up to 15% of the time.
