Overview

The Assistant Property Manager is responsible for maintaining our communities to a market-ready standard, ensuring a high-level of service, at all times. This role involves building and motivating high-performing teams to maximize property performance.

In Short

  • Ensure smooth running of the community in a fast-paced environment.
  • Assist Property Manager with overall operations including maintenance and budgeting.
  • Provide superior customer service to enhance satisfaction and increase renewals.
  • Complete lease/renewal paperwork to company standards.
  • Track advertising and client traffic.
  • Maintain effective on-site staff through hiring and coaching.
  • Manage community budget and finances.
  • Work with leasing staff to meet leasing/marketing goals.
  • Supervise day-to-day operations of the team.
  • Perform any other related duties as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred; High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 3+ years of Property Management experience.
  • 1+ years of Management experience.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Computer literate, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • General office, bookkeeping, and sales skills.
  • Ability to manage a team and set goals.
  • Ability to resolve conflicts promptly.
  • Ability to travel between properties as required.
  • Physical ability to perform job functions including lifting and standing for extended periods.
