Overview

The Assistant Property Manager is responsible for assisting in all areas defined as a part of the Sr. Assistant Property Manager job description, as well as performing property administrator job duties if there is no property administrator role on the team. This role ensures a high level of professionalism and fosters positive relationships with tenants and clients.

In Short

  • Provide full administrative support including phone support and reports
  • Assist in lease administration activities
  • Maintain orderly property files
  • Prepare and coordinate bid proposals
  • Ensure timely processing of invoices
  • Coordinate tenant move ins and move outs
  • Oversee maintenance of work order systems
  • Update office procedures in the Operations Procedure Manual
  • Assist with annual budgets and financial reports
  • Lead regular inspections of properties

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • At least 1 year of real estate property management experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Effective time management skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and demonstrate initiative
  • Sense of urgency in daily tasks
