Mechanical Engineer and Minneapolis Location Director - Remote

You will join a multidisciplinary team of talented engineers, architects, designers, planners, and business professionals who work across 17 office locations and remotely throughout the United States.

In Short

• Design multiple HVAC system types such as VAV, DOAS, VRF, and Packaged RTU systems.
• Bring 15+ years of experience in Mechanical engineering.
• Lead a mechanical team of engineers and drafters.
• Develop project specifications and proposals.
• Ensure compliance with Plumbing and Mechanical Building Codes.
• Support new business development initiatives.
• Manage office financial plans and budgets.
• Provide excellent client service and high-quality mechanical designs.
• Mentor team members and conduct performance reviews.
• Drive HVAC design from concept through construction administration.

Requirements

• Proficiency in HVAC design.
• Accredited Professional Degree in relevant engineering field.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Minnesota preferred.
• Experience with Autodesk Revit BIM software.
• LEED Certification.
• Strong technical mechanical knowledge base.
• Experience in employee supervision.
• Knowledge of RFP responses and fee proposals.
• Understanding of financial plans including budgets and leases.
• Ability to support multiple vertical markets and initiatives.
