Overview

The Mobile Diesel Technician II is responsible for performing licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance inspections, and light mechanical repairs in a mobile field environment, ensuring the fleet operates efficiently.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years of experience in a related field.
• Possession of necessary hand tools for the job.
• Ability to pass DOT pre-employment background screening and physical.
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to meet DOT requirements.
• Ability to lift and perform physical labor for extended periods.
• Effective communication skills.
• Understanding of safety and environmental regulations.
• Willingness to obtain ASE certification within 18 months.
• Preferred certifications in various mechanical disciplines.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
