SVP, Entertainment & Development - Remote

Overview

This role is highly collaborative and works with all departments to ensure we create excellent content, showcase it on video and social, cross-pollinate it with our advocacy partners, and provide marketable and revenue-driving opportunities for our audience.

In Short

• Develop and lead the creative vision for entertainment, comedy, and culture podcasts and video originals.
• Work with the CEO and board to set goals and KPIs for the podcast portfolio.
• Coach and lead a team of Executive Producers and Producers.
• Ensure cross-collaboration among various teams to amplify content.
• Manage team budget and show forecasting.
• Stay updated on entertainment and culture trends.
• Drive the content growth strategy and oversee the development process.
• Serve as a key contact for external partners and negotiate deals.
• Analyze data and metrics for show optimization.
• Develop overall strategy and operations plan with leadership.

Requirements

• 10-15 years of experience in media, with 5-7 years at a senior leadership level.
• Strong understanding of the entertainment and culture landscape.
• Ability to create resonant content and manage multi-million dollar budgets.
• Experience with production principles across various platforms.
• Strong people management skills.
• Familiarity with production and analytics tools like Simplecast and Adobe Suite.
