Project Quality Engineer - Supplier Quality - Remote

Overview

The Supplier Quality role focuses on developing a supplier performance culture in a project-based business, leading supplier visits, qualification sessions, and driving continuous improvement.

• Lead supplier performance reviews and root cause analyses.
• Implement process improvements and cost reduction initiatives.
• Conduct supplier audits and ensure compliance.

• Support partner and supplier qualification processes.

• Up to 50% travel may be required.
• Minimum of 4 years of supplier quality experience is required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
• Experience in quality or project management in a turnkey projects environment.
• Technical experience with manufacturing relevant to transformers and switchgear.
• Fluent in English.
• Minimum of 3 years of project management experience.
• PMI or ASQ certification is preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Proven facilitation and negotiation skills.
• Experience in product cost-out initiatives.
