SUBS Grant Analyst - Remote

Overview

The SUBS Grant Analyst provides mission-critical support and risk management to the University’s research enterprise, enforcing compliance and providing expert advice related to research administration.

In Short

• Prepare, review, and negotiate outgoing subagreements.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory and compliance rules.
• Analyze sponsored research awards for required terms.
• Manage workload with transparency for prioritization.
• Ensure timely submission of all subawards for approval.
• Provide expert advice and training on research administration processes.
• Administer and manage the SUBS template portfolio.
• Prepare weekly status reports of SUBS teamwork load.
• Assist Manager with special projects as assigned.
• Remote work environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 1 year of experience in Research Administration.
• Knowledge of federal and non-federal policies.
• Ability to negotiate key contract terms.
• Detail-oriented and strong analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
