Overview

The Medical Assistant II position involves preparing and maintaining exam rooms, assisting with patient care, and ensuring smooth operations in a clinical setting focused on cancer treatment.

• Interact directly with patients in a clinic setting.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Registered or Certified Medical Assistant.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• Six months of related work experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain Medical Assistant certification within six months of hire.
• Experience in patient care and clinical tasks.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA compliance.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Willingness to participate in cross-training programs.
