Grants Financial Analyst I - Remote

Overview

The Grants Financial Analyst I performs post-award activities with moderate supervision, including fund management and budgetary changes for grant portfolios, while assisting with pre-award activities.

In Short

• Act as liaison to accounting departments to resolve issues.
• Track and maintain online database of grants.
• Provide fund management and budgetary changes.
• Approve purchasing documents and provide guidance.
• Update and forecast grant expenditures.
• Assist with implementation of contracts and subcontracts.
• Create and process correspondence with granting agencies.
• Monitor invoices for outgoing subawards.
• Coordinate internal and external requests for grant information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 1 year of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of Research Management System (RMS) preferred.
• Knowledge of agency guidelines preferred.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal communication skills.
